Watching it on stage ere Angkor,
Looking for its grace as seeing,
Seems to feel o'r soul as being,
Or flying up there to heaven.
Looking for its grace as seeing,
Seems to feel o'r soul as being,
Or flying up there to heaven.
Like having been in time travel,
With angels so cute in Eden,
That's so nice to wish much often,
Now and then, among goddesses.
With angels so cute in Eden,
That's so nice to wish much often,
Now and then, among goddesses.
Of dancing nowhere could be found,
At the Mound of Gold as it is,
-- The temple dubbed of Happiness --
Seen on this Earth as to festoon.
At the Mound of Gold as it is,
-- The temple dubbed of Happiness --
Seen on this Earth as to festoon.
The golden garland hung around,
Suits the sound and light from the Moon,
As blessed with music to its tune,
-- Bliss with soon-to-be Night of Life.
Suits the sound and light from the Moon,
As blessed with music to its tune,
-- Bliss with soon-to-be Night of Life.
First I wrote the verses (using the 9-foot style that may be strange to English-speaking people, though it sounds beautifully) for this beautiful video in Khmer. But, having just cut it to paste in my KEF PO Page at @Puthpongs, the item couldn't be pasted I didn't know why: Maybe the Wifi connection was poor at the moving. Therefore, I write this English poem as a comment to John Launder.
