#rbu_757_FLOYD, WORLD CHAMPION OF FAKE FAME

Full Fight: #MayPac ,#FloydMayweather, #TMT,, #TheresadeLangis,

With no spirit as a boxer,
To have saved fear of a loser,
Floyd ran around for granted to be free,
Of punches and jabs from Manny we see,
Thus, snatched three world belts in his hands and name,
Though is seen as world champion of fake fame.

To seal his ways off to next bout,
That might pay him of any doubt,
Of may-be losses that tarnish his fame,
He'd relinquish all world belts in his name,
That as such is seen of his cowardice,
When the world claims a rematch not to miss.

The most recent Floyd-Manny fight,
Over five years ere coming to light,
Resembles that of Pacquiao-Timothy,
That robbed the world of a reality,
Ere their rematch fixed humiliations,
Handing fame back to Pacquiao with reasons.

BBC Sports posted the pics,
Sending readers confused to mix,
Their dismay as if to persuade,
Watchers' feelings not to fast fade.

ForTheWin USA Today,
Posted the pics when Floyd in May,
Crouching low to floor -- no comic,
At a corner, face in panic.

And the greats, with their words, murmur,
Lennox Lewis, of Mayweather,
Said this man had been tense on face,
-- Might Floyd have worried of his race?

Oscar de la Hoya said of Floyd's style,
Running around the ring -- many a mile,
-- Just to snatch the non-honorific fame,
Thus makes world boxing a cheating game.

An American Dr. Theresa de Langis wrote her comment "in response to the referee announcing the 'winner, who is a total loser.'" in the recent Floyd-Pacquiao fight.

SOME COMMENTS:

Chath Piersath:
Puthpong Sao, hi. How are you feeling now? Can you get up, walk a bit? Are you on a wheelchair? Well, great poem. You should try to send it to a sports publisher somewhere. Certainly, you know a lot about boxing. I know nothing of it. i have no interest in it at all. I am such a sissy when it comes to fighting. Anyway, as I read your poems, all these familiar names did come to mind. You're quite good at rhyming. Keep writing. I hope you will make a collection of your poems. Take care and I hope you're feeling a lot better. Has your pain subsided?

Puthpong Sao:
Chath Piersath, yes, pain 's subsided but yet can't stand though with help of the hand, I can sit up with feet on the floor -- not with free hand. Feet too weak to even drag on the floor. The cut bones with gaps prevent me from sitting/standing. I won't be able to stand till arthroplasty is used. A French surgeon just sent me his recent email of my planned surgery months ahead at Calmette. I have written several short stories, tales for kids, a novel (that was taken of the list of winners at the last moment in 2005 when the winner 1 was missing). Excerpt of my short story "Footprints" won 1st prize at a national level contest in December 2012. You're right. I've had a plan to make collections of my poems in Khmer, English, French. That's why I wanted and took risk of my surgery with a hope to go out for the related jobs. I have more than 700 poems in the three languages. Thank for kindness.
I like all subjects taught at school from exact sciences to social ones, and others including sports.

Theresa de Langis:
can you write a poem about how Mayweather is no man at all but a crazy person who beats his wife in front of his children and other women too and should have been in jail a long time ago rather than a millionaire  celebrity for his violence?

Theresa de Langis (May 4, 2016):
I'll try my best Puthpong Sao, but I am not as accomplished as you, so keep your expectations low please
