#rbu_600_Hope_Phnom_Penh_Not_Atlantis_

September 28, 2014 at 1:23pm
Downpours help Phnom Penh to get its new name,
Up high, the highest of its fame,
The magic rains change the streets to rivers,
Cars, m'bikes, all become swimmers.
O City of Pearl gets what's so famous,
Boasted of being prosperous,
You are in the dubbed "Kingdom of Wonder"
Of face immersed under water.
Surely not like Venice in Italy,
Under water, it's real beauty,
From Phnom Penh, 'tis completely different,
Here, floods, sewage, filth -- no comment.
May you not be buried under water,
And lost like Atlantis fore´er,
Nowhere can the City be found as though,
None of us as of now would know.

#rbu_Hopeless_Dream

What a good opportunity for job seekers!
But is it applicable for the handicapped?
Are the disabled eligible as the workers,
For the post or their hope always lapsed?
What an honor to be a translator/interpreter,
Working as an official at the Office of Consular,
Of the USA Embassy, all finders do wish most.
May God bless a disabled person for the post!

#rbu_939_Mountain_Rose

Just its beauty and scent it shows,
And spreads in the air everywhere,
Your nose smells freshness all to share.
Thank for kindness to pay your glance,
Your smile from its scent makes it dance,
In the cool morning breeze so nice,
In the calm jungle paradise.
It says, "Please name me to your heart?
"I need your frankness to take part,
"To save wild fauna and flora,
"As songs of birds and wind murmur."
Just not much share ere 'tis too late,
Thus, 'gether do help save their fate.
"Rose of Mountain!" a man utters,
As every heart loves it for sure.
- "Okay, I'll say to my species,"
This name would be known in Paris,
Where perfumes are made from flowers.
"Yep, to the Wild Rose," it prefers.
Note: its scientific name Pavonia rigida. It prefers the name "Rose of Mountain" to "Wild Rose".

#rbu_930_A_Mekong_Smile Along the thousand-kilometers-long, Mekong River, you'll see throng after throng, Of flowers of various species so nice, Like goddesses in their own paradise. Of them this one is a cute Mekong rose, Whose so charming grin strikes the heart of those, Just to shape their vanity to be love, -- The slave of her love nothing is above. Yep, her powerful smile can do shaping, Wars into peace, and more and everything, Thus, warriors become guys of peaceful heart, As if her beauty played its peaceful part. Mekong, a river of six-nation life, Along your placid banks though with real strife, There millions of people live in Eden, Enjoy your help for life as their heaven. From China, to Myanmar, Thailand and Laos, Thru Cambodia to Delta wiping chaos, Of your name -- 'tis the Delta of Mekong, Sipping life with your resources along. #People_Need_Justice

September 16, 2013 at 1:54am
Hey, canon water is used to extinguish,
The raging fire just to control it to finish.
As for the fire of the mind from injustice,
Can't be done by water/bullets of police.
Only true justice can deal with the blaze,
Of the people's anger from the elections,
Rife of frauds as gov't actions do amaze,
The world for not willing to find solutions.
Police bullets have spilled people's blood,
As seen evidently by lifeless body in blood,
On the way to true democracy we all follow.
How shameful of gov't to feign not to know!
Not the bullets but justice people do claim,
And the nobly peaceful and fair solutions,
Why should voters undergo the cruel game,
Of bullets to the detriment of their reasons?

#rbu_928_Guavas

Guava grows anywhere you plant it.
And bears many fruits as you wish it.
It pleases any mouth that eats it.

Whether with chilly salted powder,
Yeah, it can suit you to your hunger,
No matter 'tis full ripe or rather-.

So much liked, 'tis sourish sweet --
Under its shade listening to birds tweet.
So beautiful songs -- and there we meet.

And there we see our friendship grow,
As to enjoy various chats as though,
We share happiness of life we know.

#rbu_897_On_Island_of_Republic_Monarchy

(An imaginary island not referring to Cambodia)
There! A thug has been on the throne,
Built his own, strong thug-based power,
And wielded forces with anger,
No later, he'd be in prison.
He's been so drunk in vanity,
No pity's been felt as often,,
And people cry so much common,
As nation thus seen much suffers.
Violence is there so widespread –
Are up-fed with such, commoners,
Victims of abuse of power –
Their hunger is De-mocracy.
People wish to see NO own blood,
Flow in flood in such cruelty,
How to fight to build society –
Your duty: "Fight IN UNISON."
Democra-cy can't be from sky,
A hard-die struggle or burden,
On shoulders of you – not heaven –
Is to then wage till victory.
The Carpet of Blood would spread out,
As to shout for De-mocracy (?)
There's no need – a bout so bloody,
Each Party just serves the Nation.
You have to have talks, honestly,
Hypocri-sy's to "Abandon,
Any tricks of game," to mention,
You would then reach De-mocracy.
An English-language poem written using the Khmer 8-foot style (four lines/verses of eight-syllables each, with a slight modification) read in clusters of syllables "3-2-3" with good rhythms and rhymes that sounds so beautifully though it's a bit strange to English-speaking people.

#rbu_Election_Results 2013 ternatif disponible.

The NEC official result of the elections,
Reflects perfectly the plan of the CPP,
No way the people's will, for reasons,
As all good and honest people do see.
'Tis the stark broad-daylight robbery,
Of people's votes for the CPP benefit,
As we all did hear and see it clearly,
Even before the suffrage -- all illicit.
Such a treacherous result's a nightmare.
Frauds have been observed and seen.
NEC's tricks and cheats were all there,
To kill the young democracy still green.
To the detriment of liberal democracy,
And the contempt to the people's will.
What an infamous NEC of the ignominy,
Whose target's the democracy 'tis to kill.
